Let us celebrate Sir Tim Berners-Lee’s 1989 invention at CERN. Born to parents who were both mathematicians and early computer scientists, Tim studied Physics at Oxford, where he built his first computer. As a true advocate for an open web, he made the bold decision to release the source code for free. During the 2012 Olympics, he sent out an iconic tweet: “This is for everyone.”
